Having fitted the brake fluid reservoir and shelf that it sits on, it clearly needed some kind of strap to keep it in place. I decided to make my own as its not one that was likely to stretch my construction skills too far.
As is often the case I look at other build blogs (particularly the brilliant blog by Dave Powell – see my links section) and see how they have done things or overcome issues and then use their ideas to make my life a bit easier.
Anyway, nice and simple, took some aluminium sheet, cut down a strip, formed it into the right angles to go around, but hold in place, the brake fluid reservoir.
Drilled some holes in the new strap, and matching holes in the shelf and bulkhead and fixed it all together… simples 🙂
